CASTOR BOT

How to build and program the CASTOR BOT by using a combination of EV3 controller and motors.

ENGINEERING:Mechanical (Designing), Electronics (Interfacing with Motors,Sensors, Controller, and its Working), Electrical (Wiring and Voltage Supply), Computer Science ( Programming and Logics)

ARTS: Design Principles, Elements, Innovation

MATHEMATICS: Time, Distance, Angle, Speed, Rotation, Diameter, Circumference, Radius

BASEBALL BATTER

AIM: To build and program baseball batter model using Lego EV3, that will hit the ball once it detects using IR sensor.

DESCRIPTION: This robot consists of IR sensor according to program when the ball passes in front of the robot at a particular range the IR sensor detects the ball and then swings its bat to whack the ball at the right time.
REAL TIME APPLICATION: In baseball, bating is the act of facing the opposing pitcher and trying to produce offense for one’s team. A batter or hitter is a person whose turn it is to face the pitcher. Hitting uses a motion that is virtually unique because unlike most sports movements in the vertical plane of movement hitting involves rotating in the horizontal plane.

CATAPULT

AIM: To build and program the catapult robot using EV3 which can be triggered by touch or sound.

DESCRIPTION:
A catapult is basically the use of stored energy to hurl a projectile (load) without the use of explosive. The three primary energy storage Mechanism are Tension, Torsion and Gravity.
REAL TIME APPLICATION
Used to launch planes on aircraft carriers where runway space is limited.
